Klewer's Sunday Funeral

Everyone throw their pale in the middle of ruins. It was hard to come to the funeral on Sunday, especially on this last Sunday of 2014.

Pasar Klewer, Solo 28.12.2014 8:00am (12 hours after the fire first started)

Waiting For Her Brunch

I decided to took some snaps inside my gf’s home in that afternoon, rather than just waiting for her brunch. Things that plain, calm, and quiet, suddenly became intriguing. Even something that negligible will be more enticing if it has an emotional bond within. It grews naturally everytime we see, smell, and touch. Waiting is not so difficult if you think of it as an art.

Soker Rumble Run-Up

Interesting when a dying land resurrected by human hands. One year ago this place just a lonesome meadow, now have become a concrete desert. How powerful we are. This is a new highway construction project in Klodran, about 5 kimometers northwest from Solo City, one of suburban area which will become the first highway structure in Solo. This highway named Soker, which will ranged from Solo to Kertosono with total length of 177km, 100km longer than Jakarta Outer Ring Road highway. Maybe one year later this place will become: rumble.

Like A Daydream (Pre-Election)

The car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
And a dark wind blows

The government is corrupt
And we're on so many drugs
With the radio on and the curtains drawn

We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
And the machine is bleeding to death

The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles

It went like this:

The buildings tumbled in on themselves
Mothers clutching babies
Picked through the rubble
And pulled out their hair

The skyline was beautiful on fire
All twisted metal stretching upwards
Everything washed in a thin orange haze

I said, "Kiss me, you're beautiful -
These are truly the last days"

You grabbed my hand
And we fell into it
Like a daydream
Or a fever

We woke up one morning and fell a little further down
For sure it's the valley of death

I open up my wallet
And it's full of blood

// Godspeed You! Black Emperror – The Dead Flag Blues

It’s free to choose. Choose to be all-time colonized or absolute freedom. Hope for a better days after Indonesian Presidential Election 9 July 2014, rise up from this daydream.

New Solobaru

After almost two years leaving Solo, I decided to take a ride to the south. I stopped at Solobaru, which now very strange for me. Too much dust and noise of machine from super-block building construction. Suddenly I felt like, lost in transition.

Honest Botanic Garden

Another weekend in Singapore. Botanic Garden, a place you could find a thousand of green colour. I spent my all day time to got refreshed here. Not expected much, I just wanted to saw a lot of trees and grass, then laid down below the foliage. Blue and slightly cloudy sky has made up that day. Some duck swam hand in hand, dove flew came and go to took a food from some visitors who carried from home deliberately. Botanic Garden has became a honest garden as its name, although only that day.

Sentosa Island: The Beach

I’ve been in Sentosa Island while undergo the business trip in Singapore mid 2012. It was my first time visited foreign beach. Took some snaps here passed across the beach. The beach was very small I thought, you could walked from end to end just took 30 minutes. Still with the same bikini, umbrella, sand-build game. Sadly, I couldn’t find some topless sun bathing girl here, so maybe that was my minus points from here compare with beaches in Bali I thought.
